Bio

I'm a sarcastic musician who works in the computer field. I've been a support person and departmental programmer for a company in southern Oregon for the past 12 years. About 4-1/2 years ago now, I married Carol, but we are now in the process of getting divorced. Shortly before getting married, I left my old band (West of Arizona) because I wanted to play more frequently and some of the other members were very fussy about when and where they played. Unfortunately, I haven't really been in a band since then, although I've played on several demo projects and independent recordings, plus performing at several jams, parties, etc. It would be really nice to find another band. I currently also have blog/membership type things at 43things.com, flickr.com, and stumbleupon.com, and I have the same username (joemayer) at all of those sites, if anyone cares...
